樹 / Tree

本公共藝術作品【樹】，以優美挺然而立之姿設置於校園，呼應本校培植「立」型人才
之概念；窯燒坡璃燒製鑲飾的彩葉，於樹群開展的枝頭上閃耀著光芒，象徵國立臺中科技大學自創立、改制以來光榮的校史。期能透過作品鼓勵全體師生時時檢視，時時砥礪，共同開創璀璨未來。

The public artwork, Tree, will be placed on campus, where its erect and graceful presence will resonate perfectly with the school's principle of cultivating upright character and creativity among students. On the top branches, light reflected from colored leaves made of kiln-fired glass will symbolize the glorious school history from its founding, subsequent reorganization, up to, and including, the present. It is hoped that this work will inspire faculty and students to develop the habit of introspection and ceaselessly strive to improve their character, thereby together, creating a bright future for both the school and themselves.
